Important transportation information for
UBC Hospital patients and clients
The campus of the University of British
Columbia Hospital is under construction. The new Djavad Mowafaghian Brain Health
Centre is being built directly north of Koerner Pavilion.
As a result of the construction, there will
be changes in locations for patient drop offs, parkades and bus
stops.
Starting July 25th, the north parking lot
in front of the hospital (Koerner Pavilion) will be a designated
patient-only parking and can be used to pick up and drop off
patients or clients.
The next closest parking lots are the
Health Sciences and Thunderbird parkades. Both of these parkades
will have signs designating special patient-only parking stalls.
PST on PARKING increase
from 7% to 21%
On December 2nd, 2009, a Tax Notice was issued by the
Ministry of Finance to all 'Parking Sellers' in the South
Coast British Columbia Transportation Service Region.
